New venue, expanded education and a refreshed conference format bring more opportunities for business, networking and industry collaboration to the 2027 Floral Distribution Conference.
Washington, DC – October 1, 2026 – The Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association (WFFSA) has officially opened registration for its 2027 Floral Distribution Conference (FDC), taking place February 28 – March 3, 2027, in Miami, Florida. With a new venue, expanded programming and a refreshed conference experience, FDC 2027 will bring the wholesale floral community together for two full days of business, industry insights and networking.
Built around the theme “Wholesale Floral 360°,” FDC 2027 will offer a broader look at the industry, connecting perspectives from across the global floral supply chain while creating new opportunities for wholesalers and suppliers to strengthen relationships and explore what’s next for their businesses.
A New Venue and an Expanded FDC Experience
For 2027, FDC moves to the Miami Airport Convention Center (MACC), with the adjacent DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport & Convention Center serving as the official host hotel.
The new setting supports an expanded conference format, with two full days of programming, exhibits and networking on Monday, March 1, and Tuesday, March 2. Attendees will have more opportunities to connect with industry peers, discover products and services, and participate in conversations about the future of the wholesale floral business.
Expanded Programming Brings the Global Floral Industry into Focus
Programming off of the exhibit show floor will take a more prominent role at FDC 2027, with two marquee programs designed to deliver a broader perspective on the floral industry’s evolution, current challenges and future opportunities.
Monday’s opening session will feature a conversational exploration of the floral industry, examining how the business has evolved, the forces shaping today’s marketplace and the opportunities ahead.
On Tuesday, a new Global Floral Industry session will bring together perspectives from Europe, Africa, the Americas and Asia. The program will examine global production and market trends, regional challenges and opportunities, and the increasingly interconnected nature of the floral supply chain. A moderated discussion will give attendees an opportunity to explore what these developments mean for their businesses.
WFFSA’s Wholesaler Discussion Group will round out the conference’s three core educational experiences, providing a dedicated forum for peer-to-peer conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing wholesale floral businesses.
Additional details about the educational programs and speakers will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
Signature Events Bring a Fresh Energy to Miami
Beyond the conference floor, FDC 2027 will feature an expanded lineup of networking and social experiences.
On Monday, March 1, attendees will head to Cervecería La Tropical in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood for an off-site Opening Party, offering a distinctive setting to reconnect with colleagues and build new industry relationships.
Tuesday evening will feature FDC’s Awards Gala and President’s Address, celebrating the achievements and contributions of the floral community. The evening will include the Floral Xcellence Awards, the LTK Award and an After Party, bringing the conference’s two main days to a celebratory close.
Throughout the event, attendees can also take advantage of dedicated networking opportunities and two full days on the exhibit floor, where suppliers will showcase products, services and innovations serving the wholesale floral industry.
