[Winnipeg, MB, February 4th, 2025] Florists Supply Ltd, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is acquiring Wallace Nichol Displays Limited, operating as Wallace Nichol Imports, on February 28, 2025.
Wallace Nichol is in Cambridge, Ontario, and the acquisition represents the sixth location for Florists Supply. Florists Supply operates branches in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver. Florists Supply will continue to operate at the current location, Unit 4, 25 Sheffield St. in Cambridge in an expanded space.
Wallace Nichol Imports began operating in 1975, 50 years ago. It primarily sells ribbons, along with everyday and seasonal permanent botanicals. Florists Supply is celebrating its 90th year in business as an importer and floral wholesaler. Florists Supply plans to offer customers a comprehensive lineup of everyday floral supplies, containers, and a broader range of permanent flowers, seasonal items, and gift and décor.

Wallace Nichol’s former owner, Phil Swain, and the current employees will continue to work for Florists Supply. Florists Supply will be hiring a new Branch Manager to lead the Cambridge team.
